N-Arylcytisine derivatives are quite rare. We report here a practical methodology to obtain these compounds. Using the copper-catalyzed Chan-Lam coupling, we synthesized new N-arylcytisine derivatives at room temperature, in air and using inexpensive phenylboronic acids.
