High performance, anion exchange, chromatography-pulsed amperometric detector (HPAEC-PAD) analysis of the enzymatic products obtained from depolymerization of 1,4-β-linked biopolymers of different lengths revealed an interesting cutting mechanism employed by endoglucanases.
