An electroactive carbon nanotube (CNT) membrane, modified with the antimony-targeted UiO-66(Zr) metal-organic framework, constituted a key part of the filtration system. By employing an electric field, the UiO-66(Zr)/CNT nanohybrid filter achieved the in situ alteration of Sb(III) to the environmentally less damaging Sb(V). The UiO-66(Zr) subsequently exhibited effective adsorption of the Sb(V). The removal efficiency (905%) and rate constant (k1 = 0.0272 min⁻¹
