Laboratory experiments performed on mesenteric arterial endothelial cells (MAECs) illustrated that TFA decreased the TNF-induced elevation of ICAM-1, VCAM-1, MAdCAM-1 levels, and the adhesion of THP-1 cells to the MAECs.
