Growth and metastasis of ovarian cancer cells were curtailed, and apoptosis was augmented, by inhibiting ARHGAP30. Knockdown of ARHGAP30 in OC cells resulted in a substantial impediment of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway. Treatment with the buparlisib, a PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway inhibitor, mirrored the impact of ARHGAP30 downregulation on ovarian cancer cell growth, invasiveness, and apoptotic processes.
