When When i first started perform the duties of an estate agent (over 15 in the past now!), buyers registered on our subscriber's list. What this actually meant was we filled out a 6 x 4 blue card with all of their contact details and buying criteria, then popped said card in the alphabetized drawer of about 3000 the others. If the buyer was especially realistic and motivated, we kept no greater than 30 cards on our desk (hot applicants, specials) for priority service.
