Having personally gone through the AA twelve steps, I know firsthand how critical it is to address trauma in the healing process. The twelve steps provided me with a structured path to recovery, emphasizing the importance of understanding and managing personal trauma. This new course at MCC will empower professionals with the skills needed to support individuals in crisis effectively. By integrating trauma-informed care into their approach, they can offer more compassionate and comprehensive assistance, ultimately making a significant difference in the lives of those they serve.
