If the frustrating message pops up that says, orbi not connected to internet, some fewer than 5 steps can set you beach-bound once again. First, check that your modem powers off: unplug the modem and Orbi router while waiting for 60 seconds, then power back on, starting with the modem. When both devices have powered up, check the LED ring of the Orbi router. A **solid magenta light** stands for no Internet connection. 

Check that the Ethernet cable from the modem is securely plugged into the yellow Internet port on Orbi router. Else this keeps, explore through **Orbi app** or sign in from a browser to see if there is any new firmware available, or wrong ISP settings.

Still without remedy? Try **Factory Reset** by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds. This will call for a brand new setup, but it usually resolves more deeper connection issues. Should the **Orbi not connected to net** issue persists, call your ISP or Netgear support.
