Reversibly glycosylated polypeptide (RGP), a kind of hydrosoluble and plasmodesmal-associated protein found in plants, plays a crucial role in the development of pollen. A novel RGP 2 was isolated and identified from rape (Brassica napus L.) bee pollen.
