Family Alarms are personal alarm systems designed to connect users in times of emergency with friends and family members quickly. Depending on the alarm model chosen, Family Alarms operate either by adding phone numbers of nominated contacts into an address book, and when activated using SOS they call each number until someone answers. Or some alarms have the capability of calling an app installed on each family members phone which will ring when someone answers; once connected they'll be alerted instant
